22+years’ experience in Legal Sector as an Advocate.
Having approximately 14 years of banking experience as In-house & External Legal Counsel in Nepalese Banks including Standard Chartered Bank Nepal, Sunrise Bank & Mega Bank Nepal Limited and also Heading the Legal, Compliance, AML/CFT, Internal Audit and Human Resource Departments and also handling the responsibility of Company Secretary.
Around 8 years of teaching experience of B.L. / LL.B./ B.B.S. /M.B.A. classes.
Providing various training on legal issues pertaining to Banking & Company Secretary related matter at Nepal Banking Institute / other organizations.
Providing legal consultancy/ expert services on various matters issues to several national and international level organizations in Nepal i.e. Centre for Development and Governance, a local NGO supported by DANIDA, Human Rights and Good Governance Advisory Unit, Ministry of Industries, Commerce and Supply (MOICS-HMG/Nepal and Swiss contact/SIP-P to review of Nepal’s Industrial Policy (RIP), ILO, Center for Economic Development and Administration (CEDA, Tribhuban University), Lamjung Electricity Development Company Limited (LEDCO) and GTZ etc. Articles have also been published in national level newspapers / law journals in legal matter i.e. companies /taxation, BOT and other contemporary political issues.
International Finance Corporation ( IFC) certified trainer for ” Corporate Governance in Board Leadership in Banking” and ” Environmental & Social Risk Management ( ESRM)”.
